Valentine’s Day repost

11 01 2011

I have had Valentine’s Day on the brain lately, and with another snow day, I thought I would start my VD crafting by posting my creations from last year.  Valentine’s Day was the birth of my blog, January 24th to be exact, (WOW, has it almost been a year?) and I love to decorate and create for my kids, so here’s a recap of Valentine’s Day last year.

I can’t wait to start on my Valentine’s Day crafts and start posting them.  Now to think about the blogaversary…

T3’s Valentine Box & Shirt

12 02 2010

I have a picture of T3’s Valentines, but I have to find it 🙂 This is her “locker” box, idea from Family Fun, and her freezer paper Valentine shirt.  Many people are using their Cricut to cut the paper, but I don’t have one, so I used good ole’ scissors and I think it turned out great too. When I find the pic of her Valentine pillow boxes, I’ll post it.

I told you about my love potion idea early on.  They turned out better than I expected.  We added the brownie & brownie bag too.  The brownie bag idea came from Twig & Thistle and I used lunch sacks and cut the bottom off.  After feeding them through my printer, I folded and glued the bottom edge.

Valentine Decor

I created the XOXO letters and the candy jar to add to my holiday table. The love notes paper was created by me on Photoshop.

Cocoa Sliders

T4’s Cocoa sliders with Peeps and heart shaped marshmallows.  The inspiration came from Kerry’s Paper Crafts. The Valentine paper and tags were created by me with Photoshop.
