Upcycled Easter basket

17 04 2011

I have wanted to make my children Easter baskets for quite some time.  I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make liners for wooden baskets or make fabric baskets.  I came across this tie-dyed shirt in my t-shirt stash and T3 decided she liked that for her Easter basket.  I made them just like my other baskets only a little larger with one handle. The inside of the basket is a sheet set my from my daughter’s old room.  I used my heat transfer vinyl purchased at Expressions Vinyl (low prices and quick shipping) and put her name and some funky paisleys on it.  She loves it and now T4 wants one out of t-shirts too.
