Quilted Wallet

I have a wallet that fits my winter purse well, but my summer purse is a little smaller and brightly colored so I needed one for the summer purse.  I decided to make one.  I looked at tons and decided on the style.  I used ideas from many different places but two had good tutorials, and since I’m not including one just yet you can check out theirs. that*darn*kat & Confessions of a Fabricaholic.

Things I would change when making another: The top orange section is sewn at an angle,which would be super cute if my flap were bigger, so next time larger top flap; I would use a snap or magnetic closure instead of velcro; I might put a zipper pocket on the outside too. If I make another I’ll try to put together a tutorial.
