One of the projects I mentioned before was a baby blanket for my good friend. She didn’t know what she was having and all along I thought it was a girl until…. she started having early contractions. The doctor gave her medicine until almost 38 weeks. My assumption – it’s a boy. So I made her the quilt below. The idea came from Moda Bake Shop.
She had her baby, Annalee. I was soooo excited because I really wanted her to have a girl. But now, we needed a super cute baby girl blanket. I had bookmarked the scrap quilt from Amazing Mae and knew this is what she needed.
It’s super cute, even better than I expected. She loves it so much, I’m making her a matching diaper bag.
Mother’s Day is on its way too, so I have those projects to complete as well. And did I mention, we’re trying to sell our house? Not a conducive crafting environment. Oh well, we “press” on 🙂
everything is adorable, including the baby! you are a good friend! I’m visiting with creative itch.
